- Get hair 90% dry before using a round brush.
- Blow-dry entire bang section forward with a round brush till dry.
- Blow dry with the flow of your hair. Drying from the scalp down the hair shaft to the ends will keep the cuticle smooth and make your hair less frizzy.
- When using a round brush, keep it moving or it will burn your hair.
- Towel dry before applying leave-in products.
- Don’t use too much hold product. It actually weighs hair down.
- Brush your hair and scalp thoroughly before and after you apply your product.
- Aquage Spray Gel is lighter than other gels, and is great for curly hair. Combine Aquage Curl Defining Creme and Aquage Silkening Oil to achieve a gorgeous curl.
- Always use good products. It makes the biggest difference. Be consistent with it.
- Start off with a pea size amount of product, and add more as needed for longer or thicker hair. It’s always better to use small amounts and add more than to waste product or weigh your hair down.
- Don’t use grocery store or generic hair products. Better quality products make your hair look better and extend the life of your color.
- Change is good! Don’t avoid it.
- Speak well of your hair, say positive things, blessings not cursings.
- Get hair advice from a reliable source. Don’t just ask anyone.
- Give your hair a break, on weekends shampoo and let air dry, and then use a cute clip
- Drink a lot of water...It effects your hair too!
- When you’re frustrated with your hair, ask God for help. He will always help us. If it matters to us it matters to him.
- Regular shine treatments and deep conditioners in the salon will keep your hair in the best condition.
- If your having trouble with your hair or don't like something about it, you just need the right color, cut, and products.
- If you have a picture of something you love, bring it into the salon to your stylist. Pictures are great!
- A Babyliss Flat Iron and a fine tooth comb removes gum out of the hair great! Just go over the gum spot with the iron and the comb following behind it.
- Use a clarifying shampoo twice a week. Shampoo it two times in the shower, once to pull the build-up to the surface, and the second time to wash it away.
- Shampoo twice no matter what shampoo you use.
- Use Aquage products to protect your hair, especially if your hair has been color treated. Other shampoos and conditioners contain sulfates and other chemicals that fade and damage your hair.
Use a quarter size of shampoo. If you feel that you need more product, add more water instead. Aquage is very concentrated, you do not need to use a lot.
- To straighten curly hair, spray lots of Aquage Hydrating Mist or Aquage Biomega Moisture Mist then blow-dry with a paddle brush till 100% dry. Then take one-inch section and a fine toothcomb and flat iron.
- For full but flat ironed hair…. Blow-dry with paddle brush, when totally dry, just flat iron from half the hair length and down. Don’t flat iron at the roots start a lot lower to give fullness at the crown and smooth silky ends.
- Never flat iron your hair if it is still wet, even a little bit.
- If you flat iron regularly, use a product like Aquage Silkening Oil or Aquage Fortifying Ultra Gel for thermal protection. Just add one pump to damp hair and blow dry as usual before flat ironing. Aquage Silkening Oil is also great for speeding up blow drying time.
- A well-groomed, well-defined brow can be extremely flattering and add a considerable strength to a woman’s eyes. It can open her face up so that she actually needs less make-up.
- Eyebrows are the picture frame of the face. Get a shape with wax, and then get them colored one level darker than your hair.
- To get that curl everyone loves, you know… like Jessica Simpson… round brush front and top, then use 2 different size curling irons on the bottom half.
- If you naturally have lots of frizz, towel dry really well after showering, then use a generous amount of Aquage Hydrating Mist. Add a pump of Aquage Silkening Oil and use a paddle brush to work the product really well through your hair.
- Try curling your hair vertically with your flat iron, it makes the coolest curl.
